Shaunda Spell

Owner - Lead Designer

My love for interiors grew when my family began renovating properties and asked me to handle the design, aesthetics, and functionality of the homes they were working on. After spending 6 years in California I decided it was time to get back to my roots. Returning home gave me the opportunity to obtain a degree in Residential Interior Design. Over the years, I’ve had the pleasure of working on local community projects such as the Knoxville Symphony Showhouse and the renovations of the Matheny Cottage at Historic Westwood. I have also had the opportunity to take part in home installations at Blackberry Farm, as well as volunteer my time with Special Spaces.

Jeza Postelle

Seamstress - Design Assistant

I spent 17 wonderful years at Scripps Networks Interactive (HGTV, Food Network, DIY) working for two of the founding members of HGTV.  I decided it was time to move onto a new adventure. My daughter, Shaunda, was becoming successful in her interior design career and asked me to work alongside her. Being able to utilize my life-long love of sewing, my understanding of remodeling homes, and my HGTV experience has enabled me to hit the ground running with Lifestyle Designs. Also, it has allowed me to spend more time with my family and I love that.

Ciara Mattice

Design Assistant

I’ve always been very close with my family and I was thrilled when my sister started Lifestyle Designs and asked me to come on board. Being able to work with my sister and mother was a dream come true. My experience in retail, marketing, and management has helped me contribute to the Lifestyle team. I do a little bit of everything from office management, new client meets, marketing, installations, and design assistance.
